Konstantina Samara
BA(Hons), DipArch ARB RIBA

Founded in 2016 and based in Cornwall, the practice focuses on delivering exceptional housing and securing planning permissions. I bring experience to multinational architecture firms such as AEDAS Architects Ltd, Liverpool Office (now Abbey Holford Rowe), and Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects in Liverpool. I have worked on many projects, from private houses to social housing and retirement living accommodations.

Dedicated to creating unique, cutting-edge designs, I invest significantly in the design and specification of each development to maintain high standards. My approach is rooted in observation and discussion, exploring ideas derived from the site's context and the client's design culture. I conduct thorough research to understand a site's built and social history, which allows me to propose designs that are both informed by its past and contemporary. The resulting proposal celebrates the site's potential.

I emphasise the creative use of existing structures in my work, focusing on low-tech, high-performance construction. I adopt a fabric-first approach to create robust and adaptable projects.

Testimonials
Sea Haze, Widemouth, Cornwall
We met Konstantina about 4 years ago. She admired our house. We said we loved the location and house but we had to compromise on a few things, as you do when you buy a home.
Konstantina asked what would be on our wish list.
We then spent a while thinking about it. She has now successfully guided us through a beautiful design, planning permission and building regulations. Our building works start mid-May 2018. A great personalised service, hugely recommended.

From our initial thoughts of whether to extend or new build, to design and finally obtaining planning permission Konstantina was always on hand to offer advice and guidance in a professional and knowledgeable way. We would recommend her services to anyone and look forward to seeing her design becoming a reality.
